When will we carry out the upgrade?
We will be upgrading your server on 29th May 2024, which might take up to 24 hours.
DNS
You will need to update the DNS to point to the nameservers listed below. If you already use the following name servers, you don't need to do anything.
Nameserver 1: ns1.mantic.host
Nameserver 2: ns2.mantic.host
It will work if you are using the following old nameservers, but please change it to the above as soon as possible.
Nameserver 1: ns1.mdns.in
Nameserver 2: ns2.mdns.in
If your domain is assigned to third-party nameservers (e.g. Cloudflare):
If your domain is assigned to third-party nameservers, you must manually replace the A record with the following IP address.
IP: 155.254.16.28
Negligible downtime
The upgrade will cause a few seconds of disruption while the active web server software is swapped over. We recommend keeping a local backup of your website.
Upgrade moratorium
It is highly unlikely the server upgrade will affect the smooth operation of your websites - it is more likely to improve it! Therefore, to avoid any confusion, we advise customers to postpone any untested major upgrades to their software until after the upgrade so the cause of any difficulties can clearly be established.
